Coway is famous in Korea for air purifiers and water filters — products where they routinely beat incumbents on design and value. The Bidetmega 400 is their bidet entry, and it follows the same formula: better aesthetics, quieter operation, and competitive features at a price that makes larger brands nervous.
Coway is the most awarded consumer tech brand in Korea — their Bidetmega 400 brings that award-winning design philosophy to bidet seats. Slim, quiet, feature-complete for the price, and better looking than anything else under $200.

Full Review
The most immediately noticeable thing about the Bidetmega 400 is how slim it is. Coway's design team clearly prioritized a low-profile that doesn't announce itself in your bathroom — the seat is noticeably thinner than Brondell's or TOTO's at this price point. The result is a bidet that blends in rather than standing out.
Quiet operation is Coway's other calling card. The motor running the nozzle is among the quietest we've tested — nearly silent at normal use. For anyone sensitive to noise in the bathroom (early morning use, shared walls in apartments), this is a genuine differentiator.
Feature-wise, the 400 hits the electric seat essentials: heated seat with three temperature settings, warm water rear and feminine wash, adjustable pressure, side control panel. Warm water lasts approximately 45 seconds before cooling — standard for tank-heated seats in this range. No dryer, no remote — honest trade-offs for the price.
Build quality is excellent for $189. We found no flex in the seat, clean button resistance on the side panel, and consistent performance across 8 weeks of testing. Coway backs it with a 1-year warranty.
